Every February, York University joins in the celebration of Black History month. In 2022, Canada highlights this month as "February and Forever: Celebrating Black History today and every day."

AMPD Profs Lead Event for Experiential Education
Dance professor Norma Sue Fisher-Stitt led an event featuring seven faculty presenters from a variety of programs demonstrating the ways they use EE in their courses. They highlighted the ways EE can be used by a diversity of disciplines across the three EE areas of Classroom, Community or Work.

2019 AMPD Teaching Awards
The School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design celebrated the start of the academic year with a fall faculty reception and teaching awards presentation Wednesday, September 18.

Two-day retrospective showcases York film Professor Amnon Buchbinder’s inspiring work
The work of Professor Amnon Buchbinder will be the subject of a two-day retrospective taking place March 22 and 29 at York University’s Keele Campus. The event, which is free and open to the public, features four films by the Genie award-winning filmmaker. As part of the retrospective, there will be a reception on March 29 to honour Buchbinder’s recent promotion to full professor.
