45+ AMPD alums nominated for Canadian Screen Awards

The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television nominated over 45 York University School of the Arts, Media, Performance and Design (AMPD) alums for Canadian Screen Awards across more than 30 different categories, from Best Motion Picture and Best Supporting Performer, Comedy to the Barbara Sears Award for Best Editorial Research. 

The Academy is the largest non-profit professional media arts organization in Canada, with a membership of more than 4,000 emerging and established industry professionals. The Canadian Screen Awards brings together the screen-based industry annually to celebrate the country’s top talent in the film, television and digital sectors at Canadian Screen Week. Candian comedian Samantha Bee ( The Daily Show, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee) will host the 2023 ceremony in Toronto on Sunday, April 16.
