Biography
Keira has worked for over 25 years as an actor, director, playwright, dramaturg and producer. She is currently on faculty at York University, teaching acting, devised theatre, playwriting, and performance creation at the undergraduate and graduate levels. As the inaugural Associate Producer for the Forum and the Laboratory at the Stratford Festival, she spearheaded organizational change to support new work and EDI best practices. Prior, she was an Artistic Producer of the SummerWorks Festival. Keira splits her time between Stratford, Ontario and Change Islands, Newfoundland. Her documentary, Exclusion: Unravelling a Century of Silence, will be broadcast in February 2025.
