Student Accessibility Services enables an accessible campus learning environment and supports for students with disabilities. If you have a diagnosed disability, a temporary disability (e.g., broken arm, recovering from surgery, etc.) or you suspect you have a disability interfering with your learning, please register with Student Accessibility Services by:
- Completing our Online Registration Form (forms.students.yorku.ca/ embed.php?id=33938) You will need to upload your disability-related documentation to the registration form; and
- Respond to the email we send from sasreg@yorku.ca regarding next steps.
Students with diagnosed disabilities who are experiencing a significant delay in obtaining their disability-related documentation can complete the Student Accessibility Services Questionnaire at forms.students.yorku.ca/embed. php?id=36526. Student Accessibility Services will contact you regarding next steps once your information has been reviewed.
If you are experiencing academic difficulty and believe that your struggles are related to an undiagnosed disability, such as attention disorder, a learning disability or mental health disorder, visit the Student Accessibility Services webpage to learn about supports and services available to York students and your next steps. For support, contact sasinfo@yorku.ca.
During COVID-19, book a new appointment via telephone or video conference, email your accessibility counsellor directly—they will respond to your request as soon as possible. If you do not hear back from your accessibility counsellor, you can email sasinfo@yorku.ca.
