Academic Orientation introduces you to your program at York University. It allows you to mix and mingle with fellow peers in your program, hear details on your program requirements, and meet faculty members and staff in your program department.
Yes! Social Orientation is a great way to meet friends and participate in events organized for incoming York University students. Academic Orientation focuses on program details and student services available to you as a York U student.
Yes! Your Academic Orientation will cover details on your program, which won’t be covered in the Transfer Student or International Student events.

If you are arriving by car, the closest parking lot is the Bennett Centre for Student Services parking garage.
This session is all about you and making new friends! Due to limited space and seating, we request that only incoming AMPD students attend the AMPD Academic Orientation.
