Defining their Creativity: students share video artist statements

Defining purpose and giving insight into the creative process, artist statements are a powerful way to communicate the context and intentions an artist has for their work.

Visual Art and Art History students in Professor David Scott Armstrong’s fourth year Professional Practices for Visual Artists course (VISA 4001) took statements to a new level through a video assignment, and the results are totally inspiring.

Here are a sample of the submissions.
