York University’s School of AMPD launched Tentacular Futures at the new Markham Campus. This exhibition blends creativity and technology with works from faculty, alumni, and guest artists. Visitors explored innovative installations like 3D printing, mixed reality, and living bio art, addressing the transformative potential and ethical implications of merging the digital and physical worlds.

AMPD Design students take on Chicago during Reading week
57 students from the Design Student Association at AMPD visited Chicago over Reading Week! This student-organized trip took them to various studios and firms across the city - giving them a glimpse of what life could look like after graduation. Other highlights included the Design Museum of Chicago and an architecture boat tour. In their free time, students got to explore Chicago and experience all that the city has to offer.

Professor Jennifer Fisher Brings Tarot and Archives Together in New Exhibition
Professor Jennifer Fisher from York University’s School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design (AMPD), in collaboration with co-curator Jim Drobnick, recently opened a new exhibition entitled Artists’ Tarot and the Archive at the Archives of Ontario.
