Prerequisites may include both specific courses and, at the 2000-, 3000- and 4000- levels, also the requirement of a cumulative GPA of 4.5 or higher computed over all EECS major courses. “General Prerequisites” is a term used to describe prerequisites that apply to (almost) every course at a particular level.
