AMPD Frequently Asked Questions

York can send out responses as soon as your application is complete. A complete application can be different depending on the student and the program applied to. For a list of required documents please visit the York website here: futurestudents.yorku.ca/requirements/docs-required

Applicants can check yorku.ca/myfile at any time to see if they have any missing requirements.

If you feel that a missing requirement is listed in error you can contact admissions at 416-736-5000.

Responses for applications that do not require an audition/interview/portfolio review can go out as early as December if York University has received all required documentation. For programs that require an audition/interview/portfolio review, your response will be sent once you have completed the evaluation.

Yes. You can apply to as many programs as you want. You will need to complete and pay for each audition/interview/portfolio review for as many programs who require them.

Students can check the status of their application anytime at yorku.ca/myfile. Students who applied through OUAC can also check their status through their account at ouac.on.ca.
