Top two reasons students can’t enroll even though they were granted permission:
- The class is full (often this relates to Fire Code Regulations). Keep trying to enroll because other students might drop the course.
- Outstanding fee (check your student account http://sfs.yorku.ca/fees/your-student-account).
You can find your professor’s email address by looking them up in the York Atlas or your course syllabus. You can also contact your professor to find out what their office hours are to talk in person.

If you are currently enrolled and registered as an undergraduate student and wish to request a transfer to a different academic program/degree, please review the information at the Program Change page. Submit your program change request via this link.
A number of AMPD programs require an audition/interview/portfolio review before you can be admitted. When you submit your program change request, you should also contact the Department office.
