AMPD graduate film students organize Solidarity with Ukraine event

Film students in York University’s Master of Fine Arts (MFA) program are coming together to support the filmmaking community documenting the war in Ukraine by hosting Solidarity with Ukraine: Music, Poetry, and Film Screening at Nat Taylor Cinema on Friday, March 25 from 7 to 10 PM.

TERRY Talks: Michael Greyeyes hosts public lectures on Indigenous representation in Hollywood

Fresh off his Canadian Screen Award win, star Prof. Michael Greyeyes is ready to dive into Hollywood’s media-making machine and the ways Indigenous artists are reclaiming narrative sovereignty.  Terry Talks is hosted by the Department of Theatre at The York University School of the Arts, Media, Performance and Design. Open to all, the free online sessions take place every Monday in January at 9 PM EST.
