International Students

The School of the Arts, Media, Performance and Design (AMPD)  at York University is a place of creativity, diversity and stimulation. We welcome students from around the world to join us in the pursuit of artistic and scholarly excellence. We understand that transitioning into a new environment can be slightly daunting — and we’re here to help every step of the way! International students who study at AMPD enjoy many opportunities. You will work with leading performers, artists and scholars. You will thrive at our vibrant campus, which is located in the heart of Metropolitan Toronto,  Canada’s cultural – and multicultural – capital. On and off campus, you’ll have unparalleled opportunities to enrich your learning experience by exploring, experiencing and contributing to the city’s rich, diverse arts scene. Throughout your studies, we will help you make the most of your international experience.
